More homes on the way in Northampton

Toms Close is a positive for the local community

Jeakins Weir is currently working on many sites across Northamptonshire involving the construction of houses, garages, flats and assisted-living bungalows for Northampton Borough Council.

Particular progress has been made at Toms Close in Collingtree with the recent completion of a development of 21 modern and spacious family homes. This project was set in an already developed residential cul-de-sac in the small Northamptonshire village.

Alistair Weir, Managing Director of Jeakins Weir, said: Toms Close has been transformed and is a great place for new residents to call home. We are proud of the 21 new homes and of our partnership with the housing provider.”

Councillor Jonathan Nunn, Leader of Northampton Borough Council, said: “These homes have been built as a part of NBC and NPH’s ambitious housing programme, where we’ve committed to building over 1,000 new over the next ten years – a target we expect to significantly exceed. We believe that residents deserve high quality, modern homes and this development really delivers on that. We’d like to thank our contractors and everyone at NPH for this fabulous result.”
